Set Goals and give your workouts purpose

During the winter months it can sometimes be tough to motivate yourself to get going on cold mornings or in the evenings when the sun has set.  I like to keep myself motivated by setting a spring time goal.  This gives me a destination to strive for and when I don’t feel like training (yes it happens) it gives me purpose to get in my workouts.  It gives me a reason to show up!  For some of us our goals may be to reach a certain weight, or to fit into a size of clothing.  For me I like to sign up for a 5k or a another type of race in the spring.  This commits me to getting off my butt and getting out the door so I will have fun on race day.

Listed below are links to upcoming local events that you should have no problem completing  by just
attending Boot Camp training.

One of our main goals in creating Team Radosta was to create a “Sustainable” training program for the community.  What this means to us is a fun program that is affordable, flexible, and doable by all fitness levels so that the program can become part of a person’s lifestyle.
I grew up as an athlete, a swimmer, and sustainable training was part of my life!  I have lived it,  I understand it and want to share it with others.  I believe living healthy is a lifestyle choice that is fun and easy, not burdensome work and pain.

I would like to ask our Team members to help Faith and I in growing our Team and sharing our vision.  Please share our program with others in our area.  Bring a friend to class with you for a free trial class, place our flyers out in your workplace,  school,  church and in local shops around town,  promote us on Facebook, Twitter and other social media outlets. I will be happy to provide you with any marketing material.   You can also forward our emails, website and contact info to your friends.  One of my favorite quotes is by Tecumseh, when I read it I think of the strength a Team brings.  “ A single twig breaks, but the bundle of twigs is strong”

New and Improved!

We are excited to announce our New CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certification.  We are constantly working to learn more and to improve the Team Radosta training program.  We felt that the CrossFit trainer certification would help us to responsibly coach our Team into the world of CrossFit.  We believe this will be a good blend into our existing program.  CrossFit describes its strength and conditioning program as “constantly varied, high intensity, functional movement," with the stated goal of improving fitness (and therefore general physical preparedness), which it defines as "work capacity across broad time and modal domains.”

Team Radosta has also become an Affiliate with Zone Labs.  Dr. Barry sears wrote the book Enter the Zone.  We believe this is the best book written on how to eat right!  We recommend everyone read “A week in the Zone”  We can get the books for $7 each.  New members will receive a copy with enrollment.

We have a new professional relationship with a Physical Therapist. If you have an ongoing injury, Brendon Blake, PT at Back in the Game PT, has offered a free consult to our Team Members.  He is located in Flowery Branch.  4754 Martin Rd.  770-967-4377.
